Benedict’s family consists of five siblings, one girl and four boys and Ben is the fourth born. Unfortunately one of his older brother passed away early in February

He successfully completed his third level education at Kenyatta University in 2013. He was studying for a Bachelor of Arts degree. Benedict is now a teacher at Matuga Girls secondary school, which is one of the very best national schools in Kenya.

Benedict lives at his place of work which is in the southern part of Mombasa and he visits his family at the weekend. Benedict and his siblings were raised by their mother who is a single parent.

His mother used to work as a maid and struggled greatly to take care of her kids on her income. She is incredibly proud of Benedict and of all he has achieved for himself and his family. He is helping out with providing for his late brother’s children. In order to show her appreciations to SAAS Ben’s mother come to clean and help out in the SAAS office four times per week.
